Should I traverse America's highways in an aging, unsafe tin can?

Cannonball Cars is the tag where I try and find a car that can be bought cheap on the west coast and sold for a profit on the east coast, but only after surviving the daunting 3,000 mile journey of hauling all of my stuff across 'Murrica.

Here's a Datsun 510 wagon with a manual and fresh paint for $4500. Looks like a good candidate for flipping on the east coast!

the question I have is, where on the east coast are you looking to flip? Maine market is going to be very different than say DC for something like that. So pretty much, where you headed? :)

Try Ontario & eastern Canada. We have so much road salt, cars that old just disintegrate.

Bring anything over that probably doesn't exist on the East Coast (and in Canada) because of road salt. I
